POSITION: Cable Installer I
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Project Manager/Lead Tech.

0 – 3 years experience in structured cabling system installation. Works under the direction of Lead
Technician/Project Manager. Installer will install/place LV Cable supports Systems, terminate, test, and label Cat 5e,
Cat6 and Cat6A, RG59, RG6, and RG11 coax, install backbone fiber optic cable, Access Control, and CCTV cable
systems. Installer will fish walls, and assist in (MTR & TR) Telecommunications Room Build Outs

Duties include:

    • • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs

 

    • • Comfortable working on ladders, walkways, vertical climbing, working off of scissor lifts, articulating lifts indoors and out.

 

    • • Ability to dress and punch down 66-M Blocks, Patch Panels, Data Jacks

 

    • • Must know the difference between Plenum and non-plenum ceiling spaces

 

    • • Must be able to follow written and oral directions

 

    • • Must be able to work flexible shifts, nights, and weekends when needed

 

    • • Must be on time when and where scheduled

 

    • • Must be able to accurately document time and work

 

    • • Possess a valid Florida driver’s license

 

    • • Must present themselves in a clean and professional manner

 

    • • Must have a professional attuited and be quality and customer focused

 

    • • Must have transportation to get to and from assigned work locations within the Tampa Bay area, (Hernando, Citrus, Pasco, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Sumter, and Marion Counties)

Salary Range: $ 11.50 – $ 13.50/hr (based on experience)
Reports to Project Manager/Lead Technician
